DESCRIPTION:Based on the recommendation of a Long Range Facilities Committee comprised of 25 local citizens\, the Azle School Board voted unanimously to order an election of a $59.5 million bond.\n\n\n\nThe election will be held on November 8\, 2016.\n\n \n\nThe $59.5 million bond package includes building a new Azle Elementary\, a new Walnut Creek Elementary and an additional wing at Silver Creek Elementary.  In addition\, the existing Azle Elementary will be renovated to house all central administration offices.\n\n \n\nThe existing Walnut Creek campus will be repurposed to include the Hornet Academy and the DAEP.  Additional funds will be utilized to add safety and security features at all ten AISD campuses.
